Yes, we do accept appointments at our dentist’s office. In fact, we highly recommend that you schedule an appointment with us in advance to ensure that you receive the best possible care. We can often see patients the same-day for emergencies, but patients do need a scheduled appointment.

Will insurance cover my visit?
Every insurance policy is unique. We can submit authorizations to insurance for work done before your appointment to help you know what your out of pocket responsibility is estimated to be.
Do you take patients without insurance?
We are happy to see patients who are paying out of pocket for their dental care. We offer a 5% discount for payment in full at the time of service, or you can look into our discount plan which offers 15% off of services.
What forms of payment do you take?
We take cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and CareCredit. We can accept payments from FSAs and HSAs, and we accept benefit debit cards. We can take card payments over the phone or online at pay.balancecollect.com/m/grovelanddental. CareCredit payments must be made in person or via carecredit.com/go/HTW753/. If you pay online with CareCredit, please let our office know that a payment has been made.

We usually ask for payment in full at the time of service. If you would like to space out payment, our office accepts CareCredit and offers the 12 month no interest plan.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We request 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment. For a late cancel or no show there may be a fee charged to your account that must be paid before your next appointment.
What information do you need to schedule a new patient?
Once we know what kind of dental care you’re looking for, we can help you find a time in the schedule that works for you. We’ll check with you to see if you have insurance coverage and if we take your insurance. If you’d like us to have x-rays for notes from a previous office, you can contact them; they’ll let you know if they need you to sign a records release. Records can be sent to info@grovelanddental.com.

At our office we typically see patients ages 3 and up. If you have a younger child or a child who is having a difficult time, we can refer to a pediatric dental office.

I’m immunocompromised. Do your staff wear masks?
All staff members wear masks during procedures. If you’d prefer to have staff masked the entire time, please contact the office and let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly. We do not require patients to wear masks in the waiting area, but you are always welcome to wear a mask.
Do you offer sedation dentistry?
We have Nitrous gas available upon request. It is $55 and often not covered by insurance. We do not offer general sedation at our office.
How does your billing work? When do patients pay?
We request payment on the date of service whenever possible. If you’re a self-pay patient, we’ll ask for payment on the same day. If you have insurance, we will attempt to get an estimate of your portion so that you can pay it on the date of service.
