Lindsay Major grew up in the small town of Belle Plaine, MN. After graduating high school, she moved to Hawaii where she started her dental career as a dental assistant. She spent 2014-2017 working for military dental clinics, gaining experience and knowledge about the field. When she moved back home, she attended Herzing University and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.
She is thorough and uses gentle hands with her patients, and treats all concerns with the utmost importance. Lindsay knew that this was the right career for her almost immediately. From starting as a dental assistant to going to school to be a hygienist, as well as furthering her knowledge with continuing education, almost every aspect of the field excites her. She loves working with people and enjoys the smiles of her patients when they can see and feel a difference after a cleaning.
When she isn’t at the clinic, Lindsay loves to spend time with her husband Erick and their 3 cats. She enjoys adventure (yes, she’s jumped out of a perfectly good airplane!), camping, traveling, reading, Minnesota Gopher sports and the Minnesota Wild. But most of all she loves doing puzzles!
Virmari has a diverse background in both dental and medical fields, holding a Dental Assistant Certificate with Expanded Functions, which provided hands-on skills in dental care, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science, which expanded her expertise in healthcare, patient care, and medical sciences.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Virmari relocated to Minnesota with her family after her husband was offered a position in the state. The move was driven by a desire to provide greater opportunities for their family, particularly given Minnesota’s reputation as one of the best states for medical professionals, aligning well with their career aspirations.
Virmari’s passion for healthcare began at a young age when she witnessed a child choking on a piece of candy and was able to help. That moment became a defining experience, solidifying her lifelong commitment to making a difference in people’s lives through healthcare.
Outside of work, Virmari enjoys staying active by going to the gym, biking, and dancing. Quality time with family is also a priority, whether watching movies together or caring for their pets. These activities provide a sense of balance and fulfillment in both her personal and professional life.
Brenda has been running the front desk as the office administrator since 2010. In addition to managing the schedule and patient flow, she handles the insurance and billing for the office. She enjoys setting up systems to make the practice run smoothly and works to make the patient experience pleasant. Brenda moved to the Twin Cities for college and enjoyed the area so much she’s been here ever since. She enjoys a variety of creative hobbies including various crafting arts and loves spending time with her family and friends.
Groveland Dental is a small neighborhood dental clinic, and we enjoy building life-long relationships with our patients. Because we are not part of a larger dental system, we can focus on giving excellent, personalized patient care. When you call the office, you don’t have to navigate a phone tree; you’ll reach the front desk directly.
We want our patients to be informed, so we’ll let you know if we’re seeing areas of concern and what your options for treatment are. We understand that people come from a variety of backgrounds and that not everyone has had pleasant dental experiences in the past. We do our best to create a calm space and to be mindful for patients with dental anxiety.
We understand that it is not easy to find THE dentist for you or your family when looking at a new dental clinic. Whether you need a routine checkup or put off going to a dentist for several years, we are ready for you. We can customize an action-based plan for your needs. Call us today.

Welcome to Groveland dental! We are a small, privately owned dental office that has built a close, small-knit community with our team and patients. We provide treatment in a comfortable setting with compassionate care to transform your smile and restore your oral health. Here at Groveland Dental, we put our patients first.
We pride ourselves on building long-term, quality relationships built on trust, not just focusing on treatment. Our team is dedicated to continuing our education and training so that our patients have the most accurate and updated treatments available. We only recommend treatment that we would recommend to our own families.
We believe that each person should be treated with honesty and fairness, and we strive not only to provide quality treatment, but to ensure that our patients receive the proper education about their oral health and give them practices that they can implement at home. Using updated and modern equipment, we offer many different options for treatment. Such as preventative (cleanings), implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, laser treatment, periodontal (gums) and cosmetic treatment.
We know that dentistry can be expensive. This is why we offer competitive pricing, with options for payment plans and discounts through our Smile Club. We want all of our patients to receive the highest quality of care possible, at a financially attainable level.
